The Shawnee County Information Technology (IT) Department is comprised of 24 employees. The IT Department is responsible for developing and maintaining all of the hardware and software services for the 25 different County Departments that expands into over 40 different facilities. The services the IT Department provides include telephone support, network connectivity and security, end-user support, application development and support, technology management and purchasing, and project management.
