Update: The Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026, has been cancelled. The two cases originally scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting will instead be considered on Monday, October 12, 2026.
A Planning Commission meeting will be held Monday, October 12, 2026, at 6 pm, at the Shawnee County Annex, 1515 NW Saline St. There are no agenda items related to utility structures, energy storage facilities, or data centers at this meeting.

Anyone with public comments related to Land Use & Development items may send them to [email protected]. Please do not utilize the “report a concern” button within the department’s permitting portal unless you are filing a non-emergency complaint.

Note: Filing fees may be paid by Check (payable to Shawnee County Treasurer) or Credit Card (2.5% fee applies). Once a case has been filed, fees are not refundable except by the action of the County Commission.
