The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office offers study guides for preparation. A limited number is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no initial charge for borrowing the guides. If the guide is not returned on the testing date, the applicant will be billed for $4.00.

The guide can be picked up at the front desk of the Sheriff’s Office at 320 S. Kansas Ave, Suite 200 in Topeka, KS.
