Hours on Election Day:
• All day 6:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. CT
OR
• Shifts are available as either
- 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. OR
- 1:00 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. CT
Election Day: Election Workers are responsible for all that occurs at the Polling Place during their appointment. Please bring a cellular phone if possible. Additionally, bring any food, drinks or snacks that needed for the day, and wear comfortable clothing.
If you have been appointed but are unable to work on Election Day, call your supervising judge or the Election Office at 785-251-5900 immediately.
Election Worker Voting: All Election Workers need to either (a) vote early in the Election Office or (b) request an advance ballot by mail.
Polling Place: Please keep in mind, it may be necessary to place workers outside of the precinct where they live. Some Polling Places provide amenities such as kitchens and snack machines. No smoking is allowed at any voting place.
ADA: All voting places are handicap accessible to voters and meet ADA guidelines for board workers as well. If you have a need for any special accommodations, please notify the election office.
