VTC Diversion
- Provide a treatment-based alternative for Veterans from incarceration into supervised treatment and supportive services, amplifying public safety and reducing the reentry of offenders to the Criminal Justice System.
To view specifics of the VTC Program, including an overview, court hearings, the 5 phases of VTC, community supervision, advancement through the Veteran's Treatment Program, termination criteria, etc., a copy of the VTC handbook can be obtained through Court Services at (785) 251-6748.
Anyone interested in the VTC Diversion program should review the Veteran's Treatment Court Felony Diversion Program link below to view criteria, procedure, costs/fees, etc. If interested, contact Court Services at (785) 251-6748 to be screened for VTC eligibility. If determined eligible through Court Services, an applicant can then submit the VTC Diversion Application, linked below, to our office with the appropriate application fee.
